How we make money

PixelXray is free. We have no paid plans, no customer accounts and no sponsored placements. We earn money in one way: some of the apps we recommend pay us a commission when a store signs up through our link.

How recommendations are chosen

• Apps are ranked by how well they fit what the scan found: your platforms, the problems we saw, and what you already use.
• Commission plays no part in the ranking. Apps without an affiliate program are recommended the same way as those with one.
• When Shopify's free channel apps are enough, the report says so instead of recommending a paid app.
• Every app fact on our pages (price, platforms, features) has a source and the date we checked it.

How you can tell

Pages with affiliate links say so near the links. Affiliate links go throughpixelxray.com/go/… so we can count clicks; we store no personal data about you when you click. See the affiliate disclosure for details.
